There were some changes made to the NatWest/RBS feed recently as several users were experiencing duplication issues.
In summary, NatWest and RBS change their descriptions and even dates for uncleared items. This means they are presented on the feed on one day with a specific description then the following day a duplicate is added to the feed representing the same transaction but with a different description and occasionally a different date. This makes it very difficult to logically parse out any duplicate entries. We made a decision to delay the NatWest feed by 4 days which should eliminate the duplication by giving a sufficient window for all transactions to fully clear.
If your feed hasn’t pulled in transactions since 28th February, this is working as expected. However, if you’re missing transactions from before then, please don’t hesitate to drop me a private message (click my name and then ‘Message’) and I’ll happily look into this for you. It’s worth noting that some banks don’t allow historic imports, so it may take it from the date you set it up.
