Most of my customers are acting for various communuty groups and are seldom particularly computer or accounting literate. As many have several invoices outstanding at any one time I would like to be able to include a token in invoicing and overdue invoice emails that takes them direct to their invoice management page so that they can see all outstanding and paid invoices in one go.
I know that they can follow the links from the invoice in question but this does seem to be a bit beyond quite a lot of them and isn’t helped by many laymen not really understanding the difference between in invoice and a statement.
I would recommend looking into sending statements to your clients rather than individual invoices, this will include an overview of all recent payments and any outstanding invoices on account. You can also set these to go out periodically, e.g. once per month, or you can send them individually ad hoc.
