New Google Calendar Integration

We’re very pleased to unveil a new integration with Google Calendar which will now make it very simple to quickly schedule events and set SMS or Email reminders for a range of Quick File related activities.

Key Features

Here’s a brief overview of the key features.

  • Diarise sales and purchase invoice due dates.
  • Configure SMS and email reminders to be sent at a set period before each event.
  • Quickly create new calendar events on the fly from your dashboard.
  • Create and group client or supplier specific events.
  • Automatically track key filing dates for Limited Companies, e.g. Annual Return and Annual Accounts due dates.

Linking your Account

In the Account Settings menu go to 3rd Party Integration and select the Google Calendar option.

Click the green button and you will be redirected to Google to grant authorisation.

Creating Events

The easiest way to create a generic event is from the dashboard, look out for the following icons.

Click Add a calendar event and a popup will appear where you can enter a brief title, date, time and the type of reminder you want to receive (SMS/Email).

Viewing Events

On the dashboard you can click on View calendar events to quickly see a list of all your events.

Invoice, Client and Supplier Specific Events

From the client and supplier detail screen you can easily create events specific to a particular contact and view a list of only those events. You can can also set reminders against purchase and sales invoice due dates as a gentle nudge to pay or chase a given invoice.
