Hello @NDG1944
Their website seems to specify a lot of techie stuff way above my pay-grade but which indicates that they do support the Open Banking protocols?
A full list of all the banks we support can be found here, we add to this as more banks offer the service.
Some banks have their own propriety systems for open banking but do not follow the open banking standards in a way that is compatible with our system (the most common of these being CO-OP, here is a link (feature request) which goes into more depth).
In passing I note that when using the CAFBank ‘Export Activity (CSV)’ the data file is something approaching a printable statement in CSV form requiring editing down to just the middle containing the transactions. Is this likely to be an issue for QF?
All QuickFile is looking for is the column headings and transactions listed, all other headers/footers would need to be removed from the file.
I also note that after editing the said CSV file and employing the ‘Other’ format column mapping that the CAFBank file has 2 columns for money in and money out. This works fine except it would be really useful to have a facility to save this as a user defined ‘mapping profile’?
We develop options to import for each compatible bank (selected by their bank name) which are mappings to the specific required formats, the “Other” option is meant to be a catch all for any other formats.
Finally, as I have just paid the fee to activate this facility which may work against 4 bank accounts that are being phased out is there any chance of getting a credit against this payment?
When you purchase a bank feeds subscription it is an annual fee to set up as many feeds as required over the year. Unfortunately refunds/credits are not possible.
