QuickFile Keyboard Shortcuts Cheatsheet

How about M, or even O?

We went with M in the end, not perfect but close enough. It should now take you to the document manager from any screen.

I have redone the list of shortcuts, splitting them between view and new shortcuts. I found this useful to learn the shortcuts.

Would like to see a load new estimate screen

Rob

We will be adding e for load new estimate screen.

I am unsure why the shortcuts are not in alphabetical order - here is the list with the gaps showing for future developments (not sure if the J is a useful shortcut, as hardly ever used except for Year End journaling).

It started off a much shorter list and I wanted to put the most useful ones at the top. I agree it’s better to have it alphabetically listed now which I have just done.

Some user’s journal extensively, particularly accountants. So I think J should remain.

Perhaps putting the key word in each shortcut in capitals in the cheat sheet would help?

Underlining the relevant letter would be more in keeping with the general Windows UI that most people will be used to.

Looks really easy to follow what and where the shortcuts go. Thanks.

Are you considering adding a feature allowing a user to customize the shortcut list?

Not right now, but if it become a popular request we will certainly take a look.
