Hi - despite reading everything I can find and trying out suggestions I can’t get salaries to show on the P&L report. They show on chart of accounts as 2220 but it appears that I need them to be 7003 - I then tried to bulk change but this does not appear to be offered for ‘salary’ category.
I do not use the Quickfile payroll but put salaries in under ‘banking’ and tag as ‘salaries’ - please help what am I doing wrong!!?

Have you seen this post? I suspect that the “Post Net Wages to Balance Sheet” option would be causing this to happen:

Hi I have seen this - but how do I ‘move the balance myself’?
You can either post a journal or use the bulk recoding tool.
If you’re unsure about the journalling, there are guides on payroll journals here, or it may be worth asking your accountant to just be sure (I’m not one)
