Unable to Create VAT Return


I’m receiving the error below, not had any issues before?

You are not yet authorised to view this report for the VRN ---------- . Please ensure your VAT number is correct and you have connected the corresponding HMRC Tax Account. If you have recently enrolled on the MTD scheme please allow 24 hours for HMRC systems to update.

No I haven’t, thanks will take a look now

I think I’ve found the issue, my VAT account is not in the name on my Quickfile. I’ve changed the name in settings but its not updating my VAT account?

Have you connected the correct account with HMRC - you may find its best to remove any MTD details and then start again with linking HMRC

Yes I’ve done that but still showing the wrong company name, I need to change the name on the Quickfile account I think in VAT settings, HMRC Account but I dont know how

if you go to Reports >> HMRC

You should be able to disconnect the link there:

Then you can re-add the correct account. You may need to make sure that you’re logged out of your government gateway account before doing this
