I discovered Quickfile in 2022 when I was doing a google search for a basic accounting package I could try, before I buy.
I am now a massive fan. I began teaching computerised accounts in 1998 but was soon providing direct accounts support to individual companies when I found I couldn’t fix my students work based accounting issues in a classroom setting. When Ofstead was introduced to adult learning I decided it was time to move on and by 2011 had finished all my teaching contracts.
Quickfile is now the package I recommend to any company who wants to computerise their processes but doesn’t understand or need to undertand the language of “double entry”.
If I had discovered this package whan I ran taught classes it would have made my teaching much more effective and I am actually considered a return to teaching accounts in a classroom setting (that is not subject to Ofstead scrutiny!) once more because Quickfile would compliment my teaching style perfectly.
It is my firm belief that an accounting system should quietly help a business to mange its numbers and Quickfile suceeds where so many other packages completely miss the mark.
