Academic year and not Financial year

Hello,

We are a supplementary school invoicing parents every term. I would like to tag each invoice and purchase to Academic quarter and not a financial one. For example, we invoice parents and receive payments in July so they are technically linked to the current financial year but we want to link them to September (first academic quarter) so we know exactly what are our income and expenses by Academic quarters…
How can I do that?

We had the same problem allocating transactions to specific issues of the magazine. The answer is to use project tagging.
