Account wipe + past VAT returns

Hello there!

I did a partial account wipe (removing invoices and purchases). I did this because the past transactions were locked as they were used in VAT returns.

Now I see that all transactions disappeared (this is expected).
However, all the VAT returns disappeared as well.

I still can see them if I open my HMRC online account and if I open “Tax Account” page of the Quickfile website.

Could you please confirm that the wipe only removed the data inside Quickfile,
and that it didn’t affect any VAT information in HMRC?

I’m just worrying for the past VAT returns to not be cancelled/reverted/revoked/whatever.

I can confirm that a wipe only affects data on QuickFile, any figures submitted to HMRC are submitted and can not be changed in any way from our software.
