Since a few days ago when I go to set up a new client, when I type in the post code to select an address from a drop down box it always gives an error in red “address not found” even for codes used before. It has been ok for 8 months. Any ideas?

Please accept my apologies for this. There does seem to be an issue affecting this which our development team is looking into.
You can still enter the address manually in the meantime.

For the past couple of weeks the address lookup has stopped working for me, no matter what address or postcode I try, I always get an error message saying “Address not found”. I thought it might be a temporary issue but it’s still ongoing so now I wonder if it’s something to do with my account, as I can’t see any other topics about this.
I am having the same issues with 2 accounts.
This is a known issue and is currently being investigated by our development team.

The postcode lookup issue in QuickFile is a known bug the development team is investigating. Meanwhile, you can manually enter the address when setting up a new client.

Our data partner who provided the address search is unable to accommodate this feature any longer and have withdrawn support with no prior notice, hence the sudden errors with the feature.
We have identified a new partner and are working on updating the feature to support this. I would image it will be available by the end of next week, but unable to confirm a more solid date at present.
We will keep you posted here, however.
The postcode lookup is currently down because QuickFile’s previous data provider withdrew support without notice. A new provider has been arranged and the feature is being updated. It should be restored soon.
For now, you’ll need to enter client addresses manually.
