Alternating row colours on an invoice/quote

When creating detailed invoices with lots of line items & each with a short sentence or paragraph description, the end result can be difficult to read and follow. Is there a way to customise the invoice/quote either to have alternating row background colours or a small dividing line inserted automatically between each line item to make each description/price pair abundantly clear?

Or any other ideas?

Thanks Beth. Indeed, CSS was the answer here. I just pilfered some of the code from the ‘Rounded’ template (I’d never seen those templates before in six years of being a QF power user!).
