How do I find an audit trial of activities/transactions… I seem to have deleted a transaction so that now the bank account balance is incorrect. I know the amount it must be but It was obviously when I was doing the books for last year.

The event log is in Account Settings > All Settings > Audit Tab
Deleted bank transaction do not show up in the event log.
To find out what is missing you need to look for a point it balances.
For example start with a year end date, then check the end of each month until you find out where it goes out.
