Auto post Go Cardless Fees to bank charges account

My Go Cardless payments go in to a “Go Cardless” bank account on Quick File. However periodically I have to go through and manually input the payment processing fees.

Would be good if these fees got automatically posted to “Bank Charges” rather than me having to put in manual entries.

It can be a bit tricky to get these correct due to the way GoCardless calculates VAT. However, you can just upload the VAT invoice when GoCardless issues it, and create one transaction each month.

I don’t think they email me a separate invoice. Just deduct their fees from the payment. I’ll need to check if an invoice is available on the website.

No. Not VAT registered. The fee’s are just that for me. Bank fees.

They should still send you a VAT invoice, and if you request it, they are obliged to. As a VAT registered company we find this invoice essential!
