Automatic Tagging on older transactions

I love the automatic tagging feature, but it doesn’t seem to work retrospectively.

e.g.

I create 10 transactions that I would like tagged in the same way.
I then tag one and tick to do this automatically from now on.
There seems to be no way of letting it re-look through all transactions to tag the remaining 9

Am I correct in thinking this? if so this would be a nice and very handy feature.

Tagging rules only apply to newly entered transactions they won’t affect anything entered in the past. For these you can use bulk tagging which will allow you to select a bunch of bank transactions (up to 50) then tag them all accordingly.
