Backup "Run Now" not exporting recent transactions

Hope you can help,

I’m urgently trying to export/backup our latest accounts and when I run a backup it is not including the latest transactions (uploaded and tagged a few hours ago).

How can I “force” the backup to include all records to date?

The backup is just that - it’s taken from a snapshot backup of your account which may not be up-to-date due to the way the backups are taken.

Was there a particular part of QuickFile you were looking to export (e.g. the Chart of Accounts)?

Hi Mathew, thanks for getting back to me…

I’m looking to export everything for our accountant to prepare our accounts from. So really, Sales & Purchases ledgers, plus bank account would do us (they are very simple accounts).

In that case, I think a Chart of Accounts export may do the trick.

If you go to Reports >> Chart of Accounts, set your date range and then click Export at the top. You’ll be given a few options to pick from, but this will generate a CSV from your ledger entries.
