Balance Sheet Account Number Ranges Mapping Incorrectly

I have my fixed assets setup with the following codes:

0010 Motor Vehicles
0011 Acc Dep’n-Motor Vehicles
0020 Computer Equipment
0021 Acc Dep’n-Computer Equipment
0030 Office Equipment
0031 Acc Dep’n-Office Equipment
0040 Furniture and Fixtures
0041 Acc Depn-Furniture and Fittings

The Accumulate Depreciation accounts (00*1) are being classified in the balance sheet report as ‘Current Liabilities’ rather than ‘Fixed Assets’.

This topic has been raised before where the solution was to set the parent asset code, which no longer appears to be an option.

How can these accounts be displayed in the ‘Fixed Assets’ section of the balance sheet ?

Hello @hermit66

This topic has been raised before where the solution was to set the parent asset code, which no longer appears to be an option.

Please see the article below (include the word “depreciation ” in the account name to get the parent code option.
