hi I’m new to this quick file and I’ve tagged my bank but my balance is way off and when I open bank tagging and try to start todays date as the opening balance to fix the balance amount it says I can’t as I have older transactions. all i do is check who’s paid cross ref the bank of payment to the invoice so just want the bank balance to be correct as it stands its way off the real amount
You’re not able to have any bank transactions prior to the opening balance date, otherwise it skews the balance.
Have you tried entering the opening balance just before the earliest transaction on your account?
