We have a Santander bank feed for 3 accounts. The banks feeds are always at least 1 day behind. This is frustrating if a client pays a invoice but we are unable to process it straight away. Is this problem only related to us?
I see there are some lags with HSBC but not Santander.
Hi Q6IT,
The feed picks up the data about between midnight and 1am from the day before. So, for example, today on the 12/2 your bank account in quickfile shows all the cleared transaction up to 11/2 23.59pm. Most of the banks have a refresh button under ‘Option’ in your bank account in quickfile. With this button you can get all clear transactions up to the time of your manual refresh. You can click this button every 20 minutes.
Hope this helps
Hi rhc,
Are you saying if I do a manual refresh, the most current transaction should be there? If this is so, they they are still not showing…For example, transaction we did last night (the 11th) are not showing today, even if we do a manual refresh.
Interestingly, some of the transactions we did PM on the 11th are now showing as the transactions took place on the 12! Is this an issue for Santander?
Further to @rhc’s post, Santander is a little bit unique in the way they present transactions.
I’ve copied this from a previous post on the topic:
Even when a transaction has completed, Santander won’t mark it as such in the data they present to us, so we may pick it up a little bit later. This is on Santander’s side unfortunately, and we are in actively communicating with them to try and find a better way to do this.
As an example. Santander recently adopted a stance where paid in cheques show on the account as cleared within 3 hours. However reality is they don’t clear for 2 to 3 days. So what you see on your app may not reflect the same way in your bank feed
Excellent support and replies everyone…thanks for all your help.
We continue to recommend Quickfile to our clients.
Just a shame you don’t have an ready made integration/ API for Autotask
