Bank feed (Starling) - propagation time?

Hi,

I seemingly successfully linked my (Starling) bank account to my QF, but the balance and transactions are showing as 0.

Does it take some time to propagate, or have I missed something?

Hi @zebedee123

The feed will import any new transactions that are settled (that is, no longer pending).

If you’re looking to import poker transactions for a Starling feed, your best bet is to download a CSV statement from their app and import this into your account.

One (related) question…

I have uploaded my bank’s month-to-date statement to kickstart the bank feed’s balance etc, however, the balances don’t appear to correspond. Maybe an issue with the CSV file?

Was the balance on the account 0.00 on 02/01/2024 as there has been no opening balance entered on the account (view the account > Options > Settings)?

Are there only 7 transactions on the account between 02/01/24 and 15/01/24?

Thanks for reaching out.

I had missed that step. I managed to align the balance by:

1. setting the starting balance
2. uploading the statement
3. deleting the first entry

Now that I’ve aligned them to-date, I’ve gone ahead and activated the Starling bank feed. Is that ok?
