Attempts to upload a Bank of Scotland statement fail with the message
Incorrect File Format
You must upload a CSV/OFX/QBO/QIF file here (BoS CCI 2204 April_Statement.pdf).
Since the Bank is part of Lloyds and was previously part of Halifax Itried both of those but received the same error.

The error suggests you are trying to upload a PDF file (BoS CCI 2204 April_Statement.pdf).
PDF files are just readable documents and you can not import data from them.
To import data your would have to download your bank statement in one of the following file types from your banks website.
CSV/OFX/QBO/QIF
