A client has been told that QF needs to provide a token number by his bank, however we have not heard about this before. What is it?
Hi @rebecca
Can I just clarify - do you mean client as in someone trying to view an invoice on QuickFile, or client as in you’re their accountant or bookkeeper?
Do you have any further information regarding this request? For example, when did they see this request? What were they doing?
We are their accountant. The client would like to start automatic bank feeds and his bank barclays have asked for a token number from QF to be able to do this
Thanks!
I’m not sure why Barclays would have asked for a token - it’s not something I’m aware of happening before. The feed would need to be set up within QuickFile itself.
Assuming they’re using the Yodlee feed, they will benefit more from setting the feed up with a memorable word rather than a Pinsentry token as this allows the feed to run automatically. This would however need to be set up through their online banking account.
