I have set up a bank feed to try it out. It picked up the two transactions for the first day. But it hasn’t picked up the only transaction for the second day. I have refreshed the feed, but it’s still not there, although it was picked up correctly by the other accounts package we are trying.
What kind of transaction? The feed only pulls in transactions that are in the fully settled state, so things like card payments your internet banking may show them immediately when you authorised the card with the merchant, but they’ll only come in on the feed a few days later once the payment has fully cleared.
Just normal transactions - there’s a payment that’s arrived and a bill payment by BACS that has gone out: they are showing as done, and our Quickbooks bank feed picks them up.
Today, they have come across, but there is another in today’s feed that hasn’t come across. Is there something in Quickfile that prevents transactions with today’s date coming across?
Hello @ClubTreasurer
As @ian_roberts states “The feed only pulls in transactions that are in the fully settled state” (this is marked as booked/fully cleared by the bank on the feed) this usually happens overnight (and are imported on the overnight feed) but it can take longer depending on the bank and transaction.
they are showing as done
Banks often do this on their banking app so their customers can immediately see them
These are in the fully settled state - I have discovered that any transaction dated today does not come across on in Quickfile, but it does in all other accounts packages that we are trialling.
Even if I get it to refresh and even pull back older days’ transactions, it brings across all transactions from previous days - but never today’s.
