Hi, I am looking to switch accounting software mid tax year to Quickfile. I therefore need to enter each transaction for the past few months. What is the best way to do this as I will also be subscribing to the live banking feed? If I enter the bank account starting value, I get a nil value from the live feed.

Do I enter the starting date of the account to be the first day of my year accounts?

I’m sure this has come up being so any advise would be much apricated.

The bank feed will only import the last 21 days once you refresh it, anything older than that would have to be imported from a bank statement.

If the bank account is not starting from zero, you can enter an opening bank balance on the bank record under Options > Settings
