Best method to take monthly B2B payments internationally (Ireland, US, AUS..)

Hi,

Update, I have since checked how other companies in US charge, it’s predominantly credit cards or similar cards. I realised that quickfile support stripe, so I’m going to try using this. I’m not sure how it is on automated payments or re-tries for failed payments/

does quickfile integrate well with any charging companies for this, including stripe etc?

I have primarily started with the UK market on my B2B business by charging monthly using gocardless.
It’s easy (client sets up direct debit, and I can charge payment anytime).
Since gocardless SEPA (Euro payments) isn’t supported in quickfile, I would like to ask either QF staff, or any others here, how they take monthly payments from around the world and make them easily integrated into QF?

But now I am getting clients from Ireland, US etc, I need a different approach until QF support more currencies from gocardless.

Thanks.

Hello @tom_44

One suggestion would be to use the GoCardless API directly.

That would allow it

It would just mean monthly reconciliation etc

Or the Stripe API. That can save cards and do recurring payments.

But I want to just do this via quickfile on ‘recurring invoice’. Are you saying that qucikfile also doesn’t support recurring payments via stripe?

Hi @tom_44

That’s correct. The only option at the moment is GoCardless direct debits.

Just to touch on this - I have scheduled some time with our development team to look at the feasibility of adding support for SEPA. While we can guarantee anything at this stage (including whether it will be implemented, or timescales), we are looking into it.
