In 2019 someone mentioned I can bulk import a spreadsheet of purchases which can then be tagged against receipts imported to the receipt hub. How do I do this? Can I just tag receipts against payments made in the bank account and director loan account without creating payment invoices?
Receipt files can only be tagged against an invoice - these can’t be linked to a bank transaction.
But yes, you can import a file with purchase invoices. This will create one line invoices from the spreadsheet. More details on this can be found here: Importing sales and purchase invoices
Once you have invoices you can tag the payments to the invoices and also attach the files from the receipt hub
