Cannot export (even after backup)

I’d like to export the chart of accounts but I’m being given a message that due to the number of entries a backup must be performed first.

We run weekly backups and ran another last night and yet still cannot export.

Is this a bug?

Its not a bug, due to the volume of transactions, it is just advising you to use the nominal ledger report from the backup which contains all the data you require.

We keep all reports being run down below 15000 entries to help increase performance.

If a backup was performed last night all the data you require would be in the Nominal_Ledger.CSV file which was included in your backup.

Ah Ok, that makes sense. I might be worth updating that message so it’s more obvious that the backup would include the ledger data. To me it read that I need to perform a back-up before I could perform an export.
