Can't create new team member for accountant - Email address has already been registered to another QuickFile account

I can’t create a new team member for my accountant.

it says

“The Email address has already been registered to another QuickFile account. To manage multiple QuickFile accounts from a single email login please register to use Affinity.”

I asked her to create an Affinity account, but this problem persists.

Can you please help me sort this out?

QuickFile is a single company product, meaning you can only have 1 company linked to a single email address.

Accountants may have multiple clients using QuickFile and it may not feasible to create multiple emails for their clients.

With this in mind we have a dedicated platform for Accountants and Bookkeepers called Affinity. This is a single dashboard where you can group together all your client profiles, track key filing dates and setup your own branding and logo on their accounts, all through 1 email address.

Your accountant would sign up for Affinity and add your company to the dashboard (add other clients they need to access also). When they do this you will receive an authorisation email to grant them access.

In future they would just click on your company in their dashboard.

If you wish (as an alternative to Affinity) you could create a new email address and password yourself, add it as a user on QuickFile and give the accountant the login details.

Just trying to understand how to instruct my accountant in order to give her access.

My accountant says she has created an Affinity account.

How does she request access to our data, seeing that I can’t add her email address from our side?

Could you please explain what the steps are?

To be honest, I wish it was a little easier…!
