I was given this advice in regard to a query as to where to put initial assets into Quickfile.
If you wanted to put your balance sheet on you would need to post all the assets (debits) and liabilities (credits) as per the balance sheet with the credit balance going to the capital account as a brought forward figure. There should be a code for this in the package, probably by the drawings code
Do I need to make a new Capital Account in the Capital and Reserves section for the brought forward item. Any advice apprecialted. Stephen
