The ability to use your Smartphone to photograph receipts and converting them into PDF format has been around for sometime and is very handy. The game changer is integrating an OCR element, in addition to the simple capture ability, to process the data into relevant fields within Cloud applications. I have been impressed with the one I have been trialing. Are there any plans for this within Quickfile?

We can certainly consider this as potential future development. However, it’s not that straightforward and can be tricky to perfect, so it may be best to leave this to a specialist third party.
We’re certainly open to the idea of working with another provider, but it often has to come from their end. Receipt Bank is one that has popped up on the forums previously. If this is something of interest to you, I would encourage you (and anyone else) to let Receipt Bank know, as I’m sure like us, they implement many new features based on feedback.

Thank you for the prompt reply as always. As the business expands we are looking to become more efficient and this is a serious consideration. It might mean moving away from Quickfile, reluctantly, to engage and utilise this feature. I will look at Receipt Bank. Many thanks.
