Can I change the cash register settings to send payments to my bank account instead of petty cash?

Yes you can. You’ll need to go to Account settings > Advanced Features

thanks for your reply. When I go to advanced features and click the drop down button there’s nothing there apart from petty cash.

Apologies, I believe that the account linked to the cash register needs to be a ‘cash’ account. So you can set up another account under the cash heading.

This will then be available to select when you go to those settings
