Change of invoice email address

Hi, I’m trying to change the email address that invoices are sent from - without success.
Although I changed the default email address, an invoice is still sent by the old one.

So I tried to modify the SMTP address (as this is the only one that uses the first email address). But this fails, as gmail prevents the new connection, saying it’s not secure (yes, I have the box for secure connection ticked).

Can you confirm whether you had the emails coming from one of your own email addresses before or whether they were being sent by the default mail@quickfile.co.uk
