we have used quickfile for 6 years and the invoices have always been QF000**** and today they reference has randomly changed to PACKINGSER any ideas on how to get this back at all?

The invoice numbering works by taking the last used number and adding 1.
If you manually change the invoice numbering on your next invoice, the others will follow from there.
