Hi
I can produce a detail report of a Nominal Ledger from the chart of accounts (view link). This shows the debits and credits in the account and in small light grey font the current balance.
Is there a way to have a balance column next to the credit column.
Secondly could the
NET Value: -###.## (6 items)
be made more prominent with the same text as the other items in the report.
I can post screen grabs if necessary.
Thank you.
Regards
Michael
Hello @3Unique
The detailed nominal ledger report (the export option) is exported in a CSV format meaning it can be opened in Excel(or similar).
This allows customisation to be done and columns added/ removed in Excel(or similar).
A nominal report generally would not have a balance column.
If you are analysing transactions on a bank account you may be better looking at the backup csv report for the relevant bank.
Thank you Steve.
Though I am not sure why a nominal ledger wouldn’t have a balance column but I am not an accountant and as I have mentioned before come from QuickBooks where one could add any number of column types to a nominal ledger report.
