Chart of Accounts Categories

Hi,

Is it possible when setting up a nominal code within chart of accounts to be able to manually assign the category? I am using more than one accounting system and I have tried to align the chart of accounts for all businesses by following the same coding structure with the nominals. I have set up a nominal code by entering a specific code within the assets and liability range however I am unable to assign a sub category of “long term loans” because there isn’t an option to be able to do this.

Please can you advise how I can do this.

The categories are defined by the nominal range. Certain ranges are used throughout the system (e.g. assets and depreciation).
