Chart of accounts - edit nominal accounts code description

I would like to modify the description.

For example the code may read “MOTOR EXPENSES” .
I would like to change it say to say “Motor Bike Expenses”

or Training Costs change to Courses, Training etc

How can I change the description ?

Hi @ASHETH

The names of some nominals that come with your account aren’t editable. You can however create another nominal code through the Chart of Accounts with a custom name.

yes, but how do you edit the nominal codes that are editable?

Every code has a little cog wheel icon next to it in the chart of accounts, if it’s editable the icon is yellow and clickable, if it isn’t editable then the icon is greyed out.
