The account for staff salaries paid shows only up to January and no further. What can i do to put this right.
There are two options in QuickFile:
- To post the salary to the balance sheet code (2220) then to include a journal to the P&L (for those not entering their own payroll journals).
- To post the salary to the balance sheet code (2220) only.
This setting is in Account Settings >> Advanced Features. I would think this setting got changed on your account at some point?
Check from your Chart of Accounts if those entries were going in the balance sheet code only from January. If that’s the case you can journal them over to the P&L code (7003).
