Clear Deleted Invoices

Hi,
I have imported sales invoices from a CSV file. I would like to delete all those invoices but reuse the invoice numbers. Is there any way to clear these without loosing other data like bank transactions etc

You cannot keep the invoice numbers when deleting the invoices except you clear your account completely under Account settings - clear account data. There you can also choose only to delete sales invoices or purchase invoices. Have a look here for more info

There’s (deliberately) no way to entirely delete invoices after creation, they will always stay in the “deleted” list to provide an audit trail. So if you must re-do the import with the same numbers then you must first edit each of the invoices from the previous import one by one and change their numbers (e.g. add an X to the end) in order to free up the original numbers for re-use.

QuickFile is designed to work best when you let it allocate your invoice numbers in one consecutive sequence, any other system involves at least some manual overriding.
