Please could I get assistance I have a payment made via credit card in November, however its been refunded in dollars.
I am unable to credit the balance and am not sure what to do.

Had the same issue. I simply waited for the refund to appear on my credit card which was then translated into GBP and used that value.

No problem. Bank the cheque and use your bank account GBP value on your statement (less any fees) as the amount to enter.

The problem is that I would like to process the refund against the invoice created but it will not allow the invoice as its in Nov 2019
The other problem is that it will not allow me to change the currency either
To be honest, I tend to take the pragmatic approach to out of period changes and enter the item as a new transaction. In this case I’d raise it as an invoice against the supplier and use the GBP value from the bank as payment.
