Hi just checking if the only way to create a new client contact is to include an email address? For instance all I have is a contact number and name.
However if a telephone number is entered into the main client contact details. It does not appear in the client summary page, which displays contact names and numbers.
Is the only work around to create a dummy email address? (contact@tbc.com)
Client contact records do require an email address as this forms part of the client area login credentials.
Technically yes you could enter a dummy email address here, but you can also add a telephone contact number for the company as a whole, without supplying a contact record.
Thanks again for the swift reply. If the telephone number is entered in the “Modify Client Details” this does not show on the “all clients” summary page…? (quickfile.co.uk/clients?o=0)
Sorry I wasn’t sure which summary page you were referring to. We do show this number on the client detail screen, but I’m afraid we don’t include this on the main client list.
If you needed to have that number on the main client list you’d need to create a client contact record with a dummy email.
