Hi, is there a way to create a receipt of payment for client PDF, rather just an invoice with “Amount Paid” listed in the bottom?

You can send them a payment confirmation email
When you tag a payment to an invoice or as a prepayment you can sent a payment confirmation email, this can be customised in Account Settings > Routine Emails
