Compare Profit and Loss reports

Hi,
I like it that we can see Profit and Loss on so many views, however I believe there is something (very relevant) missing.

I believe it would be very worthwhile to compare current or previous month with the Prior Year same month.

There is no report showing this and can’t even look on a larger period (the 12 month period excludes exactly the comparison with the same month the previous year).

Obviously the information exists, so I wonder if there is a way to implement such a report?
