Credit card importing

I am about to upgrade to affinity so I can create a new profile. In that profile I wish to import statements from M&S credit card. They only provide a pdf for downloading but I have software that will allow me to convert the pdf to a csv file. I noticed that Lloyd’s bank produce to types of csv files so are there any rules that I need to follow in order to successfully import in to Quickfile?

Hi @brian2

A bank import CSV file needs at least:

  • Date
  • Description
  • Value

And optionally, instead of a value column it may have:

  • Money In
  • Money Out

Even if the bank isn’t on the list on the import screen, you can select ‘Other’. This will prompt you to match the columns manually.

Hope that helps!

Thank you for the info
