Credit Note Number on Invoice Or Invoice Number on Credit Note via API

I’m facing an issue when tries to get Credit note via API.in Quick File, it shows related invoice number or on the invoice, it shows a credit note number. But when I try to fetch using API like invoice get or purchase get methods. there is no detail or credit note number on invoice or purchase or if I fetch credit note then there is no detail of whom its related to until I have to go back to the quick file and then Check.
