Both issues you reported are likely related to our recent UI updates. We’ll take a look at these today.
EDIT:
OK this has now been resolved. As it happens the meaning of that toggle was reversed, so to turn it off you had to put it into the ON position. This is because the previous label read “Hide dashboard Ads [ON/OFF]”. The label was changed but the toggle was not reversed.
