Duplicate Tagged entries

Hi,

I’ve noticed I have duplicates in the account.

MORRISON PETROL , 50.27 – Tagged

MORRISON PETROL , 50.27 – Tagged

However they are locked now due to VAT submission, so as you can appreciate there is a “Balance” difference of the duplicate.

What is the best method of rectifying this anomaly? I would like to just delete one to bring the account to balance.

The best way is to credit note one of them back, matching the date on the credit note with the original entry. The credit note will then get picked up automatically in the next VAT return.
