I use bank feeds for the credit card and current account records. When the bank pays the credit card bill, the feed shows the relative entries from each institution. Reconciling both as “transfers between accounts” duplicates the respective entries. What is the bestter way of handling these entries please?

When you tag a bank transfer you would see the following if there is a matching transaction on the destination account.
The transaction in the destination account is matched to it
