Email addresses with a plus symbol

I added a user to our team with a + in their email address but they did not receive the invite.

I’ve double checked and the email address does work. Is it possible that QuickFile has a problem with the plus symbol in email addresses?

I actually use this type of email address myself for testing purposes, and haven’t had any issues.

However, to be sure, I’ve just tried it again, and received the email fine.

Looking at the logs, I can see several emails sent to an email address containing a plus symbol within the last few hours, and they’ve all returned as sent (e.g. they haven’t bounced or failed). It may be worth checking spam/junk folders, and if you still have no luck, I’d recommend contacting their email provider.

You’re completely right. I didn’t notice that Gmail grouped them all together. My mistake. Thanks for the fast follow up. :thumbsup:
