Email bounces

It would be really helpful if there was some kind of notification that a customers email was bouncing. Currently the only way of knowing this is noticing by chance when you look at the customer account. In some cases where there are a lot of customers it is possible for quite a bit of time to pass before realising they are not receiving invoices/statements, especially where these are automated and you may not have any reason to look at the customer account often.

I was just adding a post to ask whether there was a simple way to see email bounces, only to discover I asked this 4 years ago. Any possibility of this function appearing?
