Emailing an invoice to a client and attaching the material expense receipts to the same email

We are very new to Quick file.
Only ever done MANUAL accounts and invoicing in the past.
Our client insists that we EMAIL a copy of our invoice over to them AND we have to add any materials bought ON TO THE SAME INVOICE but we also have to send PROOF of the material purchase by sending a copy of the material receipt ON THE SAME EMAIL AS THE INVOICE to keep everything simple for the end client.

I cant see how I do that on Quick file. How do I do this?

Hello @GrahamD

When you preview the invoice you can attach files below it.

In the message you can also add the @AttachedFileList@ token to attach the files to the email.

Thank you.

I did actually attach the expenses to the email in the “file attachment” area from saved PDF’s on my lap top.

I found out that I had to request for PDFs to be emailed in the clients management area and I had to tick a box to activate this as I dont want my customers to have to go to a portal to pull off invoices and expenses. I assumed that ticking this area would then allow the expenses to be sent as PDF’s too? I did test this but the client could only see the invoice.

I will retry checking to see if this token you mentioned above is showing - @AttachedFileList@ token - which I was not aware of earlier.

Thank you
